Mother Nature Could Get Even with the Bush Family

September 22nd, 2006

According to a report from the National Resources Council of Maine, the Bush Family Compound is included in a list of Maine coastal areas threatened by rising sea levels.

“If sea-level rise continues as currently projected, then many coastal Maine communities will be hit hard, harming Maine people, businesses and natural resources,” said NRCM’s energy project director Dylan Voorhees. “If global warming continues unabated, then portions of Maine’s coastline will be forever changed.  That is why we are calling for increased efforts at every level to reduce global warming pollution.  The most dangerous impacts of sea-level rise can still be avoided, but widespread action is needed now.  According to scientists, we have a shrinking window of opportunity to change our course—measured in years not decades.”

I wonder if the President still feels like arguing if human activity or nature is responsible, or will his right-wing base attribute it to God’s justice.

I can’t wait for the Global Warming Theory to come splashing through the Bush family’s living room windows. Oh dear, there went the guest houses village! Global Warming is carrying us out to sea… Hold on tight, Barbie. Mu-hahahaha-haaaaaa.

I am sure the world will show the same compassion to the Bush family when their compound goes under, as they showed the victims of Katrina. No doubt the world will also not be shy to remind Barbara, as she looks at her personal loss, “how well this is working out” for her. Perhaps the Bush’s will be able to shore up the place with the oil profits of all their buddies and Cheney cronies.
